Job summary

Qualifications

• Trade/workshop experience in woodwork or metalwork environments.
• Experience operating industrial equipment with students.
• Ability to assess and monitor student progress for targeted intervention.
• Exposure to diverse teaching methods and assessments for varied learning styles.
• Knowledge of First Nations and international student needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organise and maintain resources, materials and equipment for practical classes.
• Ensure workshop spaces are clean, safe and organized with SOPs and PPE compliance.
• Set up and disassemble lessons, ensuring tools and machinery are ready for use.
• Support teachers during lessons and demonstrate safe tool use.
• Monitor student progress and provide intervention as needed.
