You will provide practical advice to project leaders, drive capability building and resolve complex workplace issues, while negotiating instruments and staying ahead of industry developments.

Qualifications

• Degree and experience in law, business, industrial relations, HR or employee relations.
• Certificate II-IV in Business Administration and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
• Major-project industrial/workplace relations experience, preferably in construction.
• Understanding of Victoria's industrial-relations environment and unionised construction workplaces.
• Strong influencing, communication, organisation and compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop industrial-relations plans and manage project workforce risks.
• Coach leaders on obligations, compliance and effective workplace practices.
• Lead sensitive investigations and prepare evidence-based findings for decision makers.
• Advise on complex disputes and act as an escalation point.
• Negotiate and draft industrial instruments with senior leadership, including enterprise agreements when required.
• Monitor relevant industry developments and improve governance and training.
