Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a capable Project Manager based in Sydney to lead rail infrastructure projects from planning through completion. You will drive delivery, manage budgets, coordinate contracts and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a national pipeline of work. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Teritiary qualification in engineering, project management or a related discipline.
• Track record as a Project Manager delivering major rail or other infrastructure works.
• Strong commercial judgement with experience overseeing budgets, contracts and client relationships.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams to complete projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Confident leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, collaborative problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Set the delivery approach and lead rail projects from contract award to successful completion.
• Control budgets and schedules, monitor commercial performance and manage risks affecting project objectives.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams, coach team members and build capability across the delivery group.
• Make sure project activities satisfy contractual obligations, quality standards, safety expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Provide clear progress reporting, contribute to strategic planning and improve delivery processes.
