Job summary
Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to provide plant support for automation systems, troubleshoot, and drive standardization and documentation. You will work with Operations and other Technology Centers to execute projects while applying global standards and advancing safety initiatives.
The role requires knowledge of process control, documentation skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a high‑demand environment.
Qualifications
- The candidate holds an associates degree, with bachelor’s preferred in chemical, electrical, computer, or automation engineering.
- 2+ years of process control experience in an industrial setting is required.
- Experience with distributed or SCADA control systems, Rockwell PlantPAx preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop or modify automation controls to meet process goals and troubleshoot hardware/software.
- Document automation hardware/software related to control systems.
- Collaborate with operations and technology centers to execute projects.
- Support safety initiatives and process optimization efforts.
- Coordinate with third‑party suppliers/contractors and manage multiple projects.
