Job summary

Master Instruments Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to join the Sydney team. The role is a full-time position based in Milperra, Sydney NSW, with responsibilities spanning client relationship management, new business development and technical product solutions.

You will conduct meetings, prepare quotations and proposals, and provide expert advice on batteries, DC power products and energy storage technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical sales, business development or account management in a B2B environment.
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Experience in industrial/electrical/power solutions sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industrial, commercial, government and corporate clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial, commercial and government sectors.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to assess technical requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders and product recommendations.
• Provide technical advice regarding batteries, portable power systems, DC power products and related technologies.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage key customer accounts and support ongoing business development initiatives.
• Liaise with engineering, operations and marketing teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving business growth targets.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records using CRM and ERP systems.
