Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Engineering - Industrial to lead delivery across Energy & Industrial projects, ensuring successful tenders and project execution while building engineering capability and technical excellence.

You will shape strategic planning, identify new business opportunities, and foster strong customer relationships with senior leadership to drive growth and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications with energy/industrial sector experience.
• Knowledge and proven experience in engineering management of complex projects.
• Knowledge of Australian and International codes and statutory requirements.
• High level understanding of operational, quality and improvement strategies & activities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent general computer literacy and discipline-specific applications knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Development of Engineering capability to facilitate business growth within the Energy & Industrial sector.
• Provide senior management and strategic leadership with clear objectives, targets, and KPI tracking.
• Develop and maintain innovative delivery methodologies with PMO to support all markets.
• Build trust-based client relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Business Development and PMO to pursue major opportunities.
• Attend Management Review Meetings and address quality management issues.
