Job summary

UGL is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join its O&M team for nationwide electrical infrastructure. The role encompasses planning, testing, training, documentation and handover of plants and systems, ensuring compliance with design philosophy and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating commissioning programs, managing ITPs and liaising with clients and management, while supporting safe, on-time project delivery and a robust safety culture.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in electrical engineering with hands-on testing and commissioning experience.
• Experience on HV substations or energy projects with protection schemes.
• Ability to prepare commissioning plans, ITPs and check sheets.
• Site experience on major construction projects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, test and handover plant and systems per designs and safety rules.
• Coordinate commissioning activities and maintain schedules and programs.
• Prepare Commissioning Management Plans, ITPs and procedures.
• Interface with clients, contractors and project management on site.
