Job summary

Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative in Mooroopna is seeking a Program Manager – Family Services to lead the culturally safe delivery of family support programs across Strengthening Families and Restoring Families streams under Victoria’s Children and Family Framework.

You will develop and monitor the business plan, oversee staff recruitment and performance, ensure compliance with legislation and accreditation, and drive practice and policy development to support Aboriginal self-determination.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Community Services, Social Work or similar discipline.
• Knowledge of the local Aboriginal community and RAC’s role.
• Experience managing services in the Aboriginal child, youth and family sector including budgets, staffing, reporting, accreditation and program development.
• Leadership and supervision skills to support a healthy workplace and culturally safe outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of Family Services.
• Develop, implement and monitor the business plan in line with RAC’s Strategic Plan.
• Ensure compliance, reporting and performance management across programs.

Education

Diploma in Community Services/Social Work or equivalent
