Job summary

Flinders University is seeking an Associate Lecturer / Lecturer in Indigenous Knowledges and Culture to join the Aboriginal Health team. The role focuses on teaching and scholarship of teaching, employing innovative practices and technologies to deliver excellence in Indigenous health education.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching and learning outputs in Indigenous health issues, cultural safety, primary health care and population health.
• Active connections to Aboriginal communities and organisations with community consultation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance student experience through teaching approaches and e-learning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create, coordinate and conduct teaching informed by cultural education, promoting primary health care and cultural safety.
• Contribute to planning, evaluation, curriculum development and review across topics and courses.
• Lead teaching activities and coordinate staff to support Indigenous students and engagement with community.
