Job summary

Western Sydney University seeks a Senior Lecturer in Indigenous Health to advance Indigenous health education across undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the Campbelltown campus. The role involves designing learning activities, assessing students, and contributing to curriculum development within a culturally safe framework.

Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification or progress towards PhD in Indigenous health, health professions education, primary care or related field.
• Experience delivering engaging teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Strong research profile with ability to lead, obtain funding and supervise HDR students.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and develop relationships with Indigenous communities, professional bodies and industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and student support across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Design and deliver learning activities, assess student achievement and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development, course administration and academic quality assurance.
• Undertake independent and collaborative research, contribute to funding applications and supervise higher degree research students.
• Establish and sustain reciprocal partnerships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and stakeholders.
