Job summary

Real Futures Pty in New South Wales seeks an Employment Consultant (OGS/PPS) to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through sustainable placement outcomes. You will perform case management, build strong relationships with employers, and mentor applicants to ensure continued success in post-placement support.

This role covers Kotara, Cessnock and Maitland, offering opportunities to collaborate with assessors, document outcomes, and use JobReady Live and JobAccess while

Qualifications

• Ability to overcome objections and break down barriers to employment.
• Deliver efficient strategies to engage employers and build sustainable relationships.
• Awareness of vulnerabilities and positive effects of employment.
• Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work with potential employers to source employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for aspirants receiving Ongoing Support and Post Placement Support services
• Build and maintain positive relationships with employers
• Maintain regular contact with aspirants, offering mentoring, motivation, and guidance
• Refer, book, and complete Ongoing Support Assessments with assigned assessors
• Collect and record all required evidence to support and process employment outcomes
• Utilise JobAccess and the Supported Wage System
• Prepare and submit accurate documentation for Ongoing and Post Placement Support outcomes
• Maintain detailed and compliant case notes in Job Ready Live
• Ensure all activities comply with IEA Agreement, WHS, and organisational policies and procedures
