Job summary

AMES Australia is seeking a Casual Employment Mentor based in Blacktown to support Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander job seekers. You will provide individualised employment guidance, manage a caseload, and coordinate services to help clients overcome barriers to employment.

You will negotiate with employers, monitor outcomes, and deliver job-search training while upholding the organisation's values and cultural responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support and guidance to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander job seekers.
• Case manage a caseload of clients and coordinate employment support services.
• Support employers to place candidates and monitor progress.
• Demonstrate knowledge of local Aboriginal communities and EBW principles.
