APM Employment Services in Ipswich and surrounding suburbs seeks an Employment Consultant to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander job seekers with culturally safe, holistic employment services. You will partner with local employers to create pathways and provide ongoing guidance that helps participants secure meaningful work.

The role emphasizes culturally respectful practice, community engagement, and adherence to program requirements, with a competitive salary plus uncapped

Qualifications

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• Willing to complete a National Police check.
• Willing to obtain a Working with Children’s check.
• Possess a current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups.
• Develop tailored plans for mob to create successful and culturally safe pathways for employment.
• Empower mob by developing and enhancing their employability skills to find meaningful employment.
• Deliver a quality service whilst adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements.
