Job summary

Kambu Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation for Health is seeking a Coordinator to support the Elders Program. You will work closely with Elders, staff and community volunteers to ensure culturally safe, responsive services.

The role requires organisational drive, initiative, and a commitment to improving health and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Ipswich and West Moreton. Identification with Indigenous communities is a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• Experience working in Indigenous community health settings preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders with cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver the Elders Program on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Collaborate with Elders, community members, staff, volunteers and external stakeholders.
• Maintain registers and administrative systems with attention to confidentiality.
