Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize the preparation and cooking of authentic Indian dishes and menus.
• Develop and design menus considering seasonal availability, customer preferences, and cost factors.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all food prepared and served.
• Monitor food preparation and cooking methods to maintain authenticity and hygiene standards.
• Estimate food requirements and manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering skill development and teamwork.
• Control costs by managing portion sizes, minimizing waste, and optimizing resources.
• Innovate and create new dishes to enhance the restaurant’s menu and customer experience.
