Job summary

VitaCare Disability Services Pty Ltd in Mount Druitt NSW is seeking an independent Occupational Therapist on a subcontractor basis. You will manage your own caseload with flexible hours while delivering FCAs, OT assessments and interventions to support NDIS participants.

The role emphasizes person-centred, evidence-based practice, collaboration with a supportive team, and opportunities to grow the OT service as VitaCare expands in Western Sydney.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Current ABN or willingness to establish one.
• Appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) and prepare NDIS reports.
• Deliver individualised OT assessments and interventions.
• Assess participants' functional abilities, independence and daily living needs.
• Provide assistive technology and equipment recommendations.
• Conduct home environment and modification assessments.
• Develop practical, person-centred therapy plans.
• Liaise with participants, families, support coordinators and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per professional and NDIS requirements.
• Collaborate with VitaCare's management and support teams to achieve outcomes.
