Job summary

Coomera Anglican College on the Gold Coast invites applications for a Primary Learning Support Teacher - Learning & Behaviour to join our SWELLE team for a full-time permanent position commencing in 2027. This role focuses on inclusive education, targeted learning enhancement and behaviour support, helping students across Prep to Year 6 access, engage with and experience success in their learning.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Inclusive Education and QCT registration.
• Experience in inclusive education, learning support and differentiated teaching.
• Strong MTSS knowledge and evidence-based interventions.
• Experience supporting diverse needs with proactive strategies.
• Knowledge of NCCD requirements and documentation.
• Ability to use data to inform intervention and monitor progress.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to Anglican ethos and child safety.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify and support students needing additional learning or behaviour support.
• Provide targeted individual, small and large group interventions based on identified needs.
• Support inclusive classroom practices, differentiation and reasonable adjustments.
• Provide proactive and responsive behaviour support to strengthen engagement and success.
• Develop, implement and review Student Adjustment Plans (SAPs) with teachers and SWELLE team.
• Support NCCD processes including documentation and evidence collection.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and use data to monitor progress.
• Contribute to literacy, numeracy, extension and enrichment programs.
• Collaborate with families, Teaching Assistants, College staff and external professionals.
• Contribute to the culture and life of the Primary Sub-School and College.
