Job summary

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Teacher for the Senior Years to support students with recognised learning needs and access the curriculum. This permanent full-time role is based in Indooroopilly, Brisbane, with a Term 1 2027 start.

Applicants should hold current Queensland Teacher Registration and a qualification in Learning Support/Special Education, with strong understanding of Australian Curriculum and QCAA. Experience with Years 10–12 is highly valued.

• Current Queensland Teacher Registration.
• Tertiary qualification in Learning Support/Special Education; knowledge of Australian Curriculum, QCAA and learning support strategies.
• Experience supporting Senior School students (Years 10–12) is highly desired.
• Sensitivity to student and parent concerns and ability to develop strategies to support educational needs.
• Proven ability to contribute to identification and programming of students with learning needs.

About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Teacher to support our Exceptional Learners department. You will play a central role in supporting students with recognised learning difficulties or disabilities to access the curriculum.
