Job summary

SDN Children's Services is seeking a Diploma-qualified Senior Educator for the SDN Glebe Preschool team. This 12-month full-time Max Term Contract offers above award pay, professional development, discounts, and strong family partnerships in a inclusive, not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or Certificate III with suitable experience.
• Experience in inclusive early childhood settings with diverse backgrounds and additional needs.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and knowledge of NQS.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and partnerships with families.
• Ability to adapt practice across different age groups.
• Knowledge of child development and ability to create engaging learning experiences.
• Strong communication and teamwork, commitment to child safety.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR/Asthma/Anaphylaxis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support child-led learning experiences reflecting children's interests.
• Collaborate with children, families and educators to build belonging.
• Support physical, emotional and developmental needs including inclusive support.
