Job summary

The role focuses on strategic leadership for student engagement, wellbeing and achievement, with MTSS-based systems, data-driven planning and collaboration across school teams.

Qualifications

• Full registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
• Minimum five years' teaching experience with inclusive education practice.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence (if required).

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of inclusive education practices across the school.
• Develop and evaluate systems, data processes, and supports that enhance outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.
• Analyse student performance and wellbeing data to identify priorities and inform targeted interventions.
• Facilitate coaching, mentoring, and professional learning to build staff capability in inclusive education.
• Lead collaboration within school support teams to ensure equitable and effective student support.
• Foster positive partnerships with families, caregivers, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with BCE policies and legislative obligations, including the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and Disability Standards for Education (DSE).
