The Salvation Army, through Employment Plus and the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program, is seeking an Employment Consultant for the south‑eastern suburbs. You’ll help participants with resumes, applications and interview skills, while building relationships with local employers and providing ongoing post‑placement support.

This permanent full‑time role offers a smaller caseload, personalised support, and salary packaging; travel between sites is required across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Employment Consultant or related customer-facing role.
• Ability to build relationships and provide personalised support.
• Willingness to travel between sites across the region.

Responsibilities

• Support participants toward sustainable employment.
• Help with resumes, job applications and interview skills.
• Connect with local employers and advocate for participants.
• Provide ongoing post-placement support.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure quality support.
