Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking an Employer Engagement Consultant to join our Employment Services team in Australia. You will develop and manage relationships with local employers to create sustainable job opportunities and support candidates for the labour market.

You will work with Job Coaches to align candidate skills with employer needs and provide post-placement support to ensure long-term success. This is a KPI-driven, purpose-filled role in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in relationship management and/or advocacy for clients.
• Target-driven with ability to exceed KPIs.
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Confidence in engaging employers from diverse industries.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with local employers to generate job opportunities.
• Proactively identify leads through networking and market engagement.
• Partner with Job Coaches to prepare candidates for the labour market and align them with employer needs.
• Deliver post-placement support to employers to ensure long-term employment success.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support clients at risk and improve retention outcomes.
• Work to KPIs and performance targets in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
