Breakthru, part of Royal Rehab Group, is seeking a dedicated Career Coach to support people with disability, injury or health conditions across New South Wales and Queensland as they prepare for meaningful employment.

You’ll guide clients through the job-readiness journey—from first conversations to applications and interviews—build confidence, connect with upskilling opportunities, and collaborate with employers to create real pathways to work.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work)
• Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
• Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans
• Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
• Current Driver’s License – essential

Responsibilities

• Plan career steps with clients and help find suitable jobs.
• Build relationships to understand goals, strengths and support needs.
• Provide tailored coaching with regular check-ins.
• Connect participants with upskilling opportunities and group activities.
• Collaborate with employers and community services to open pathways.
• Meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
• Champion Breakthru’s inclusive, person-centred values.
