Job summary

Royal Rehab’s Breakthru program is expanding the Inclusive Employment Australia initiative across New South Wales and Queensland. As a Career Coach, you’ll support people with disability, injury or health conditions to build confidence, develop skills and secure meaningful careers.

You’ll guide clients from initial contact through job applications, interviews, and ongoing growth, working with a collaborative team to ensure sustainable outcomes in a fast-paced, people-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Employment or Human Services are desirable.
• Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
• Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans.
• Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends.
• Current Driver’s License is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to plan their next career steps and find the right job.
• Build strong relationships to understand client goals and support needs.
• Provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
• Connect participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience, and group activities.
• Collaborate with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training.
• Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
• Champion Breakthru’s values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
