Breakthru is recruiting a Career Coach to support people with disability, injury or health conditions on their journey to meaningful employment. You will guide clients from initial conversations through job applications and interview prep, building confidence and skills along the way.

Join a collaborative team delivering the Inclusive Employment Australia program across NSW and Queensland, partnering with employers and community services to create pathways to work and training.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work) - desirable.
• Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
• Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans.
• Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends.
• Current Driver's License - essential.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with clients as they plan their next career steps, providing support to find the right job along the way.
• Build strong relationships to understand each client's goals, strengths, and support needs.
• Provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
• Connect participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience, and group-based activities.
• Collaborate with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training.
• Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
• Champion Breakthru's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
