Job summary

Smart Energy Pte Ltd in Australia seeks an Inbound Sales Manager to build and lead our home electrification phone sales team from the ground up. You will recruit, train, and coach a high-performing team, establish processes, and drive strong lead conversion for Google/Meta inquiries.

You'll own sales targets, monitor metrics, and collaborate with marketing to optimize digital campaigns. Based in Byron Bay or the Gold Coast, with onboarding at the Byron Bay office for six–eight weeks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years proven experience supervising or managing a phone-based sales team.
• Experience converting Google/Meta-generated leads into sales.
• Strong CRM and pipeline management skills; ability to coach and drive performance.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding and developing salespeople; building a team from scratch is valued.
• Experience in renewable energy/home electrification is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Build and recruit a phone sales team from scratch, onboarding and developing the right people.
• Establish sales scripts, lead allocation, follow-up processes and performance expectations.
• Coach the team on discovery, product recommendations, objections and closing.
• Lead by example through hands-on selling and call coaching.
• Own sales targets and monitor lead-to-sale conversion, CPA, revenue per lead and team performance.
• Collaborate with marketing to evaluate lead quality and campaign impact.
• Use CRM reporting and call reviews to identify opportunities and improve processes.
• Ensure customers receive clear advice and smooth handover to delivery teams.
• Foster a positive, accountable team culture focused on continuous improvement.
