ScreenAway/ViewTek, a leading national provider of retractable screening solutions, seeks a Design Specialist in Canberra to conduct in-home consultations, assess windows and doors, and present tailored ScreenAway/ViewTek solutions. Responsibilities

• Attend pre-booked appointments in customers’ homes across Canberra.
• Present and demonstrate ScreenAway/ViewTek solutions; explain features and value.
• Prepare and present accurate quotes and follow up as required.
• Build rapport, identify needs and guide customers to the right product and finish.
• Work towards personal sales targets and participate in ongoing training and coaching.

Our Design Specialists play an important role in the customer journey. They help customers understand their options, recommend the right solution and provide a professional experience from consultation through to sale.

What Your Week Looks Like

This is a field-based, Tuesday-to-Saturday sales role, meeting homeowners at pre-booked appointments across Canberra.

There is no cold calling, door knocking or searching for your own leads—our team books your appointments for you.

Your week includes:

• Attending pre-booked appointments in customers’ homes
• Working 5:30 pm appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
• Building rapport and identifying each customer’s needs
• Assessing windows and doors and recommending suitable ScreenAway and ViewTek solutions
• Demonstrating our products and clearly explaining their features, benefits and value
• Helping customers choose the right product, configuration and finish
• Preparing and presenting accurate quotes
• Confidently handling objections and asking for the sale
• Following up with customers when required
• Working towards individual sales targets
• Developing your product and sales knowledge through ongoing training and coaching

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in face-to-face, consultative or in-home sales
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• The ability to uncover customer needs and confidently recommend the right solution
• Confidence in presenting, handling objections and asking for the sale
• The ability to learn and consistently follow our proven sales process
• Motivation to achieve targets, earn bonuses and deliver results
• A dependable and consistent work ethic
• Availability to work Tuesdays to Saturdays, 5:30 pm appointments Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
• A current driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
