Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in the Warwick area with in-home personal care and daily living tasks. You will spend time on the road visiting clients and helping with daily activities to improve their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include providing in-home care, meal preparation, cleaning, and assisting with transportation for appointments and community activities, under the client’s Care Plan.

Qualifications

• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential.
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work – Essential.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes, providing in-home personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support independence and quality of life according to each Care Plan.
• Transport with client to appointments, shopping and community activities.
