Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in Stanthorpe and surrounding areas, delivering in-home care to promote independence and quality of life. You will spend your day visiting clients, assisting with daily tasks and following individual Care Plans.

This casual role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, a current Australian driver's licence, and a roadworthy vehicle. You will be part of a friendly, community-focused team with salary packaging benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential
• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent - Essential
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care including showering, daily living assistance and domestic tasks
• Support clients with independence and quality of life as per Care Plan
• Transport and accompany clients to appointments and activities
• Engage with clients and families to deliver compassionate, person-centred care
