Job summary

Global Disability & Community Services in Sydney, NSW seeks an experienced Female Disability Support Worker to provide in-home care for a client in Carlingford. You will support daily living tasks, manage complex needs including epilepsy and behaviours of concern, and work within an Individual Support Plan to promote wellbeing and independence.

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is required, plus WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening.

Qualifications

• Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services.
• Experience supporting people with Severe Epilepsy and dual diagnosis.
• Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, person-centred support in line with the client’s ISP.
• Safely monitor and respond to seizures and epilepsy management.
• Support clients with behaviours of concern and document progress.
• Accurately record incidents, seizures, behaviours, and daily notes.
