Job summary

Warhorse Disability Support Services in Sydney NSW seeks an In-Home Disability Support Worker on a Sub-contract basis. You will deliver person-centred care to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.

The role requires a Certificate III in Disability Support or related qualification, WWC, NDIS Worker Check, First Aid/CPR and a valid driver’s licence. Flexible hours offered with a supportive team and community-based care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in Disability Support, Aged Care, or related qualification.
• WWC clearance, NDIS Worker Check, and Police clearance
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid driver’s licence (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and activities of daily living as per care plans
• Assist with meal preparation, nutrition, and daily living tasks
• Support with mobility and safe manual handling
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities
• Document care provided and monitor changes in wellbeing
• Maintain privacy, dignity and professional boundaries
