Job summary

Good Directions in Ballarat is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to assist a young female NDIS participant with daily living tasks, personal care and medical support. You will help her engage in meaningful community activities while prioritising safety, dignity and choice.

Female only Team - Disability Support Worker Required

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team. You will play an essential role in helping a young NDIS participant in Ballarat live a full life and achieve their goals. Our client requires support with daily living tasks, personal care, medical and positive behavioural support.

High Intensity Support providing person-centred support to a young lady with complex disabilities.

This role requires a highly experienced professional skilled in epilepsy management, medication administration, positive behaviour support, and regulated restrictive practices.

The support worker will assist the participant to achieve her goals, maintain her safety and wellbeing, and participate meaningfully in the community while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.

A suitable candidate will assist in supporting consistency in service delivery and provide person centred active support.

Must have:

• Valid NDIS worker check
• Current first aid and CPR certification
• Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.

Helpful in this role:

• Epilepsy training
• Medical background
