Your Mate Community Services Pty Ltd seeks a reliable Female Disability Support Worker to support NDIS participants with complex needs and to assist with daily living activities. You will work closely with families to deliver safe, respectful, person-centred care, applying behaviour support strategies and health management.

Formación

• Female candidate with experience in complex support needs.
• Experience with children aged 58.
• Knowledge of behaviour support (RP), meal planning, and epilepsy management.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently and reliably.
• Strong communication, patience and empathy.
• Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain)

Responsabilidades

• Support participants with complex BOCC using strategies from Behavior Support Plans (RP).
• Provide care and supervision to children aged 58 in daily routines and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation and meal-time management.
• Support participants with epilepsy management, including responding during seizures.
• Implement strategies in line with individual support and care plans.
• Build positive, supportive and professional relationships with participants and their families.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
