Job summary

Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is hiring a Personal Care Assistant / Cleaner for Home Care in Darwin. The role involves travelling to clients' homes to deliver in-home cleaning tasks and support with delegated care activities as per approved care plans.

The position is permanent, full-time with 38 hours per week, and pays between $35.20 and $37.16 per hour depending on skills and experience. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, domestic or commercial.
• Experience assisting with activities of daily living in a community or Home Care setting.
• Comfortable delivering cleaning tasks over direct care.
• NT Driver’s license and access to a reliable, fully insured vehicle.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse team environment.
• Comfortable using mobile apps and working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients’ homes to provide in-home cleaning duties.
• Attend appointments and general care duties per approved care plan.
• Follow delegated services and report progress to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
