Job summary
RDNS Your Choice HomeCare in Randwick and surrounding suburbs is seeking a Home Care Support Worker to deliver high‑quality in‑home care. The role offers flexible Monday–Friday hours, with travel up to 30 minutes and a requirement for a valid driver’s licence and own car.
Experience in home care is essential, with a Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support and current First Aid/CPR and Police Check. You’ll provide light domestic help, personal care, companionship, and transport to assist
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Support or similar.
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in home care (aged care or in-home support).
- Disability support experience alone does not meet requirements.
Responsibilities
- Domestic Assistance: light housekeeping, meal prep, ironing and laundry.
- Personal care: assistance with dressing, grooming, showering, toileting and nutrition.
- Transport and Mobility: community access, errands and appointments by vehicle.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients.
- Engage in friendly conversations and ensure client safety and comfort.
- Report changes or concerns to the supervisor.
