Job summary

RDNS Your Choice HomeCare is seeking a Home Care Support Worker to deliver elderly care and in-home support across Chatswood and surrounds. If you love older people and want to make a difference, join our team and help clients remain independent at home.

You will have a Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support, at least 12 months home care experience, a valid drivers licence, own car, First Aid/CPR and Police Check, plus willingness to travel up to 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or similar.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in home care (aged care or in-home support).
• Disability support experience alone does not meet requirements.

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance: light housekeeping, meal prep, ironing, laundry.
• Personal care: dressing, grooming, showering, toileting, nutrition assistance.
• Transport and mobility: accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; engage in friendly conversations.
• Ensure safety and comfort; report changes to supervisor.
