Job summary

Australian Unity in New South Wales is seeking Support Workers to deliver in-home care for aged care clients, enabling them to live independently at home. Roles are permanent part-time with an hourly rate of $30.60 per hour plus 11% super and travel allowances.

Applicants should have a valid Australian driver’s license and reliable vehicle, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and be flexible to rosters across 7am–6pm, Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Drivers Licence required.
• Reliable vehicle insured and available.
• Fully vaccinated (2 doses) for COVID-19.
• Roster flexibility 7am–6pm, Mon–Sun.
• Minimum 12 months experience and/or Certificate III in IS.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, assisted dressing.
• Social & Wellbeing: accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Safety practices: safe manual handling and driver awareness.
• Transport: transport to appointments, shopping and social outings.
