Job summary

Australian Unity (North) is seeking caring, reliable Support Workers to deliver in-home personal care to aged care customers in Tamworth, NSW. You will perform personal care, home help, and transport tasks, working a permanent part-time roster with a competitive hourly rate and travel time reimbursements.

The role requires a current Australian driver’s licence, reliable insured vehicle, and 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine, with rosters from 7am to 7pm across Mon-Sun.

Qualifications

• Must have a Current Australian Drivers license.
• Must have 12 months experience in delivering Personal Care or hold a Certificate III in Individual Support.
• Must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
• Flexibility to work rosters between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care such as hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and medication prompting.
• Assist at home with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and dressing.
• Provide transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings.
• Support clients with social interaction and ongoing training and support.
