Job summary

Australian Unity Limited in Narrandera is recruiting Home Care Support Workers to deliver in-home support to our aged care customers, helping them live independently and confidently in their own homes.

This permanent part-time role offers an hourly rate of 32.61 to 36.23 AUD, 12% super, travel allowance, paid travel time, smartphone and uniform, and a supported induction program, with a stable roster and extra hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have either an approved qualification or 12+ months experience in a support worker or AIN role.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe
