Job summary

Australian Unity (North) is seeking dedicated carers to deliver in-home support to aged care clients in New South Wales. Roles are permanent part-time with an hourly rate of $31.38 plus 11% super and travel allowances for client travel time and KM.

Applicants require a valid Australian driver’s license with an insured vehicle, and must have or be willing to obtain a Certificate III in Individual Support. Vaccination and flexible rosters are required.

Qualifications

• Must have current Australian driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (minimum 2 doses).
• Flexible to rosters between 7am–7pm, Monday to Sunday.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or 12+ months experience in Personal Care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care such as hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing and mealtime support.
• Provide help at home with cleaning, laundry, meal prep and assisted dressing.
• Transport clients to appointments, shopping and social activities.
• Support client awareness through social interaction, observations and ongoing training.
