Stone Freight Solutions in Melbourne is seeking an Import Operations & Customer Service Specialist to manage import shipments (FCL/LCL/Airfreight) from placement through delivery and billing. You will nurture customer relationships, respond to inquiries efficiently, and identify new opportunities across trade lanes.

The role requires 2+ years in Import within a local freight forwarder, plus 1+ year experience with Cargowise1, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle FCL / LCL / Airfreight import shipments from PO Placement and management through to delivery and billing.
• Manage customer accounts and build client relationships.
• Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns as well as develop new opportunities in different trade lanes, services.
• Explore additional customer needs/opportunities and maintain SOPs at all times.
• Ensure all customer details are maintained and kept up to date.
• Assist with some export operations.
