Import Coordinator

About the Opportunity

An established transport and logistics business based at the Port of Brisbane is seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join its growing operations team.

This role is suited to a logistics professional with a background in import coordination, container transport, truck allocation, slot bookings and delivery scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate import container movements from arrival through to final delivery.
• Manage truck allocation, slot bookings and transport scheduling.
• Book container slots with relevant terminals and facilities.
• Monitor container availability, holds and release requirements.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transport providers and customers.
• Coordinate daily transport requirements and manage changing priorities.
