Ansvar Australia, proudly part of Benefact Group, seeks an Underwriter - SME to join our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office. The SME Underwriter underwrites small to medium renewal cases within the SME portfolio, handling less complex risk with a focus on service levels and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong personal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience dealing directly with brokers and clients.
• Proven SME underwriting capability in the insurance sector.
• Understanding of insurance risk management including reinsurance.
• ANZIIF Associate level or related insurance qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Act as the first point of contact for SME underwriting issues and guidance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers and distribution partners.
• Underwrite SME renewals and new business as required.
• Provide advice on SME technical matters to users/clients.
• Respond to queries promptly with high-quality customer service.
