Job summary

Greater Shepparton City Council invites applications for an Early Childhood Educator – Certificate III (Kindergarten) at Nancy Vibert Children's Centre. The role is 31 hours and 40 minutes per week, Monday to Friday until the end of 2026, then transitioning to 3 days per week from 2027.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting.
• Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Criminal History Check valid within six months.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Foundations of Child Safety Training Courses 1 & 2.
• Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through meaningful relationships and high-quality care.
• Contribute to a responsive and safe learning environment consistent with centre policies.
• Engage with families and the community to support children's outcomes.
