Early Childhood Educator – Certificate III (Kindergarten)

Salary: $64,373.00 to $71,144.00 per annum pro rata (rate dependent on level of experience)

Part Time (12 hrs 40 min p/w) – Permanent

Dolena Young Kindergarten are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the position of Early Childhood Educator – Certificate III. The service is located in North Shepparton and provides a funded Kindergarten educational program.

This role is a part time permanent position, Thursday and Friday 8.30am – 3.20pm, during school terms only. At Dolena Young Kindergarten we aim to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment for all children and families.

We believe in offering a play based, open ended program, with educators engaged in supporting children to build on their ability to communicate effectively, and develop language and literacy skills and enhance their social and emotional development. Through the promotion of active play, our children will develop and understanding of the environment and the world.

The successful applicant will have the support of the Council Children’s and Youth Services network and professional development opportunities.

Successful applicants will hold:

• Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care recognised by ACECQA
• Current First Aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
• Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
• Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC).
• Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
• Foundations of child safety – National child safety training
