Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a proactive Civil Engineer to lead infrastructure and maintenance project delivery from planning through to completion in Singleton, NSW. You will work with internal stakeholders, contractors and industry partners to ensure safety, quality, time and budget targets while improving network performance and road safety for communities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure or maintenance projects.

• Knowledge of road, bridge or traffic infrastructure construction and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of road, maintenance projects from initiation through to completion.

• Coordinate investigations, planning and design activities, including scopes and cost estimates.
•  
• Procure, manage and oversee consultants, contractors and service providers to achieve project outcomes.
•  
• Prepare and administer contract documentation, including technical specifications.
•  
• Monitor project performance to meet safety, quality, cost and schedule targets.
•  
• Implement effective financial controls and cost management processes.
•  
• Promote and maintain health, safety, environmental and risk management standards.
•  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to balance road safety, asset management and network efficiency objectives.
