Job summary

• Understanding of patient confidentiality, Release of Information policies & knowledge of health record processes
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time appropriately, prioritise workload and work under pressure
• Demonstrated enthusiastic work ethic and the ability to and work as part of a team
• Excellent computer skills across a variety of applications
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative
• Ability to work across multiple WSLHD facilities as required

Responsibilities

• Process Release of Information (ROI) requests end-to-end, ensuring sensitive clinical information is reviewed and disclosed appropriately
• Review and analyse health records, extracting relevant information while maintaining confidentiality
• Apply NSW Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 and WSLHD policies when processing requests
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, monitor deadlines and maintain records in the HPRM system
• Support service quality and continuity across WSLHD sites by tracking requests and workload
• Meet established performance targets and provide operational support as needed
