Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Privacy Specialist to embed privacy by design across health information delivery. You will work under the Director of Legal Services and partner with senior leaders to provide expert advice and respond to information access requests and privacy matters.

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications in law or health information management, demonstrated ability to prioritise a heavy workload, and strong analytical problem-solving

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in law or health information management.
• Experience with privacy laws and information access provisions.
• Ability to quickly develop expertise in information privacy within a large public health organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert privacy advice to senior leaders and lead privacy initiatives.
• Respond to information access requests and privacy matters under applicable legislation.
