Job summary

Mt Gravatt Community Centre is seeking an organised, capable Employment & Training Programs Coordinator to run two SQW programs from recruitment to reporting. You will build relationships with participants and partners, deliver training, and help people move into employment.

The role focuses on coordinating end-to-end program delivery, administration and achieving outcomes. A practical, people-centred approach and ownership are essential.

• Strong organisation and time management.

• Ability to coordinate programs and take ownership.
• Initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with your own workload.
• Experience supporting people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in employment, training, human services or program coordination is valued.
• Experience delivering training or facilitating groups is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Recruit participants, coordinate promotional activities, conduct intakes and manage enrolments.
• Support participants through qualification, ensuring engagement and progress.
• Deliver employment readiness training (resumes, job search, interview skills).
• Assist participants to identify and pursue suitable employment opportunities.
• Liaise with employers, training providers and community partners.
• Coordinate program activities, schedules and requirements.
• Maintain participant records, case notes and documentation.
• Complete reporting and meet program funding requirements.
• Work towards participant, training and employment targets and KPIs.
