Job summary

Mt Gravatt Community Centre Inc is a not-for-profit organisation delivering services and programs that support people and strengthen our local community. We are seeking an Employment & Training Programs Coordinator to lead two SQW programs and help participants gain qualifications and move into employment.

This hands-on role follows participants from first enquiry to employment outcomes, including recruitment, program delivery, administration and reporting, with a focus on building relationships

Qualifications

Experience coordinating community programs or employment services.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet targets.
Strong client and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Recruit participants, coordinate promotional activities, conduct intakes and enrolments.
Support participants through qualification and progress.
Deliver employment readiness training including resumes, job searching and interview skills.
Coordinate program activities, schedules and requirements.
Maintain participant records, case notes and documentation.
Complete reporting to meet program and funding requirements.
Work towards participant, training and employment KPIs.
Liaise with employers, training providers and partners.
